hello!

i can't actually make a posting due to the fact that i am not not a member -- i am not a mother though i plan on following the "boob nazi policy" when i do have children.

first off, i wanted to say i am in extreme support for your battle against livejournal abuse (as you can see by my default icon!) i am the (co)mod of endometriosis and have just posted a request for support and solidarity from my community for your battle, your struggle and your community. there are members who are childfree, childless, experiencing inferility or do not yet have children, however i feel that this is an issue that needs as much attention as possible, and as much support as possible.

i am also a women's studies student at the university of victoria, in british columbia, canada, and i have sent out an email to the women's studies listserv explaining the situation and encouraging everyone to sign the petition. the email has also been sent to all women's studies profs in the department. i have also written letters and am spreading the word of this.

i hope that you win your battle, and know that i (and i hope my community!) will be right behind you... i will post if/ when i feel i have the community's support. good luck,

This is bullshit! If we are supposed to "hold off" while the negotiations are taking place, LJ abuse should hold off too. Ridiculous.

I'm not a member either, no do I have kids yet , but I love this community and I think everyone here is amazing. I've been watching this from the beginning and it makes me so angry. I just wanted to thank everyone who's worked on this.

I dont think we should hold off any longer, not when they are giving us the same courtesy. This is getting beyond rediculous people are just trolling for icons now and it is getting sick and I am getting really angry
